Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:
• Prospecting: Identify and cultivate relationships with key Architectural and Design firms (A&D) in the San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside County markets.
• Lead Generation: Generate and follow up on leads from various sources, including industry events, online platforms, and referrals.
• Sales Calls: Conduct regular sales calls on A&D firms and relevant trade professionals.

• Product Expertise:
• Product Knowledge: Develop deep expertise in INFINITYcontract's product lines, including their features, benefits, and applications.
• Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations to architects, designers, and other specifiers.
• Education & Training: Educate specifiers on the proper utilization and selection of INFINITYcontract products.
• Client Support:
• Provide Sales Support: Offer ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process.
• Sample Distribution: Provide product samples to clients to facilitate decision-making.
• Order Fulfillment: Follow up on leads and convert them into successful orders.

Market Intelligence:

• Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry contacts.
• Library Updates: Maintain and update architectural firm libraries with the latest product information.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales role, preferably within the architectural, design, or building materials industry.
• Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside County architectural and design markets.
• Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals.
• Problem-Solving & Negotiation Skills: Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills to address client challenges and close deals.
• Self-Motivation & Discipline: Ability to work independently and proactively from a home office environment.
