CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY:
This position supports all aspects of the team's activities and services related to international operations and seasonal in-house projects, requiring fluency in both Spanish and English. The role involves providing comprehensive logistics services, including transportation and delivery, vehicle maintenance and control, transloading, storage, shipping, and equipment management. The goal is to ensure that company productivity targets are met and to foster an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•Assist account management with monthly pricing, spot activity, and equipment analytics.
•Oversee and manage domestic and international equipment.
•Procure and facilitate carriers to support both northbound and southbound operations.
•Coordinate with customers and job sites for scheduling and forecasting.
•Assist in supporting the day-to-day activities and operations which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, goals, objectives, systems and/or standards; ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, codes, standards, policies, and procedures.
•Provide support to staff by prioritizing and assigning work, ensuring training needs are met, and offering coaching as needed. Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
•Troubleshoots and resolves non-routine issues and complaints.
•Work closely with carriers, shippers, receivers, and customers to coordinate and ensure load commitments are met. Monitor load/driver movement and oversee, approve, and coordinate relays as necessary. Determine driver capacity to meet customer needs and develop alternate plans to prevent service failures.
•Motivate team members to meet company productivity goals and advise them on increasing productivity and efficiency.
•Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
•Ability to work on a Safer site or Safer Logistics customer location site while performing the essential functions of this position.
•Use, carry, and answer a cell phone for business purposes as required by job duties and the department head.
•Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred. Minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in transportation brokerage or logistics industry. Any combination of relevant education, training, or experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job will be considered. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested. Must be bilingual in Spanish, both written and verbal communication.
