Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Demand Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and managing the demand for our B2B customers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and maintain demand forecasts for B2B customers and 3PL partners based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.

· Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather relevant information and insights for demand forecasting.

· Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

· Monitor and adjust forecast accuracy by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast error, bias, and inventory turnover.

· Execute purchasing business processes with overseas suppliers, primarily focusing on purchase order processing as well as invoices and payments.

· Maintain Supplier delivery status within various data management systems and or receipts reports with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve discrepancies.

· Work closely with the procurement team to ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing customer demand and cost efficiency.

· Provide input to the supplier and supply chain process in developing inventory priorities on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

· Inventory evaluation between all warehouse locations and implementation of any necessary transfers.

· Support Suppliers with product information including UCClabel and purchase orders.

· Coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing and supply chain activities with the demand forecast.

· Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate forecasting, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.

· Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning and supply chain management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. (preferred)

· Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in a B2B and 3PL environment.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.

· Strong understanding of B2B Ecommerce platforms, such as Wayfair, Castlegate.

· Excellent knowledge of forecasting methods and techniques.

· Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills (Excel- Pivots, V-lookup, etc.)

· Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and 3PL.

· Excellent punctuality and attendance
