Job Description

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional e-commerce specialist to join our TEAM! As an e-Commerce Specialist, you will create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute new item launches, and manage item catalogs through web-based portals with key e-commerce accounts. 

Providing a variety of duties related to item setup, user management and user support, basic configuration, and process documentation, as well as working to maintain data integrity. This position would interact and participate with all businesses. 

Primary Objective:

You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our online business operations and delivering exceptional customer service. As an e-commerce specialist, you’ll maintain all our sales touchpoints — website portals, online marketplaces, and aggregators — and oversee online sales, review content, problem-solve issues that limit consumers' views online, and optimize the overall customer experience.

Major Function and Scope:

• Write and edit product content that will be published on e-commerce websites/portals.
• Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
• Work closely with different teams (product management, graphics, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-commerce platforms.
• Provide support in other areas of SEO, Keyword Research, and Website UX. 
• Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies.
• Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, lookups, etc) to stay organized.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Maintain and improve data integrity by regularly monitoring and resolving data inaccuracies within the system
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within systems

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• e-commerce experience with key accounts. (Ex: Amazon & Wayfair) 
• 5+ years of experience in customer support
• Dal-Tile inner company experience a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation
