Healthcare Assistant Manager Position (Miami Beach)
We are a busy physical medicine office with both physical therapy and chiropractic doctors. We are seeking an assistant manager for 3-5 days per week. We take a hands-on approach by providing full-service scheduling and follow-ups. We are looking to help our practice grow and retain patients by assisting in our daily office functions. Insurance verification, submitting claims, and posting payments would be valuable experience.
Office Duties include but not limited to:
· Greeting patients, checking them in and assisting with intake forms
· Managing incoming calls and scheduling patients using office software
· Communicating with patients about initial visits, membership packages vs other payment options with our two office locations (Miami Beach and Wynwood)
· Organizing weekly reports
· Checking patients out with scheduling and processing payments
· Coordinating treatment plans with practitioners and patients
· Following-up with patients after sessions using office software to assist with and track patient retention.
· Coordinating with our billing personnel with patient insurance benefits and packages
· Ordering and keeping track of supplies
· Scanning, Filing, & Mailing
· Some light cleaning, helping to keep the office organized and looking good
Qualifications:
· Medical office experience is a plus, especially a physical therapy or chiropractic office.
· Professional appearance and communication
· Computer competence, typing, Word, basic math skills
· Ability to multi-task well
· Friendly, Bi-lingual a plus
· Willing to pass a background check

· We are centrally located in South Miami Beach; the office could be walkable or accessible by local transportation if you live locally
· Salary will be based on experience. We prefer someone with managerial experience in a medical office setting and we will pay accordingly.
· $20-$28 base pay plus a generous bonus structure
