Salary Range: $49,975 - $70,690 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Professionalism : - Displays the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and Agency personnel.

Responsibilities In collaboration with school leaders, leads the use of grade and developmentally appropriate curriculum including providing initial and ongoing trainings and staff development
Supports and works in collaboration with teachers and teaching assistants to create supplemental instructional materials that are aligned with the curriculum and the CCLS
Plans and conducts staff development trainings and activities that focus on the use of data and assessment to enhance learning and collaborative instructional planning
Models effective differentiated instruction, classroom management, environmental set-up and classroom motivational strategies when requested
Works in conjunction with the Learning and Organizational Development Team to provide professional development that promotes evidence based best practice in instruction
Collaborates with school leadership to support the needs of teachers and classrooms with regard to formal and informal student assessments and quality best practice instructional strategies and approaches which ensure data driven decision making and alignment to the CCLS
Manages and ensures the fidelity of the school's implementation of all New York State testing mandates
In collaboration with BOCES and school districts, coordinates the delivery, collection and distribution of all secure testing materials required for New York State assessments.
Facilitates all mandated testing in accordance with the established test calendar and completes and authorizes all assessment documents to be given to the New York State Department of Education by the recognized deadlines. May act as proxy for any administered tests or assessments
Serves as a resource for formal and informal instructional assessments and research materials, such as but not limited to: NYSAA testing and scoring materials, student progress rubrics, data sheets, preference assessments, research articles, evidence-based web sites and other electronic data banks and educational resources and instructional research for curricular topics
Provides training and guidance to teachers in the use of formative assessments as indicators for data driven instruction and better alignment with student needs and educational goals
Assists with the professional development requirements outlined by NYSED mentoring mandates for teachers and teaching assistants
Assists with the design and implementation of new staff orientation and agency or department trainings
Assists school leadership to continually assess the effectiveness of the current staff development procedures and practices with regard to staff retention
Works collaboratively with all to execute such services as, but not limited to: coordinating classroom coverage, providing basic instructional technology support to teachers and classrooms, providing relief to classroom teachers to work with specific students or paraeducators to increase effectiveness of student programming and instruction and the design and preparation of training and instructional materials for staff and students
Develops, modifies and implements training modules for paraprofessional and professional staff.
