We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice in Suwanee, GA. We have 2 opportunities available, a clinical position managing primary care conditions, and a non-direct patient care role as administrative/patient care support. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate at PA/NP looking for either part time or full-time work.
As administrative/patient care support at our practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting administrative aspects of patient care. Working closely with our practice physicians and other providers, your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring efficient and effective patient care management.
The PA/NP coming into the direct patient care role must be comfortable managing primary care conditions based on current guidelines and standards of care, have a minimum of 3 years of primary care experience in the recent 5 years at a reputable practice, and be comfortable managing 2 - 3 patients per hour. Must also have strong clinical skills, be able to work independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our facility offers a wide range of diagnostic procedures, such as ultrasounds, sleep studies, DEXA scans, spirometry, electrocardiography, blood pressure monitoring, and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities (varies depending on clinical vs administrative role):
-Comprehensive Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused physical examinations.
-Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
-Diagnostic Proficiency: Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and radiology reports.
-Medication Management: Oversee and manage medication refill requests.
-Lab and Radiology Results Review and Interpretation: Interpret lab and radiology results, post findings and interpretation note to the patient portal, and communicate with patients and clinical staff as needed for follow-ups or further consultations.
-Patient Inquiries and Requests: Respond to various patient queries and requests, providing accurate information and guidance.
-Specialist Referral Notes: Review notes from specialists and update patient charts to reflect the latest care information.
-Preventive, Routine, and Acute Care Support: Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness care, aligning with the physician's recommendations and treatment plans.
-Chronic Care Management: Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses.
-Provide patient education and counseling on wellness, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
-Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
-Medical Record Accuracy: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
-Professional Development and Research: Participate in continuous education and research to stay abreast of advancements in internal medicine and primary care.
Requirements:
-Master's Degree -Physician Assistant or Nursing or a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited nurse practitioner program is required.
-A minimum of three years of experience in primary care, specifically in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, is essential.
-Coding/ Billing and EMR Dictation Proficiency EClinicalWorks - EMR system
-No state license, DEA, hospital, insurance, or work restrictions, including historical restrictions.
-Current PA/NP license to practice in GA
Schedule:
-Full-time or part time (no weekends or major holidays)
-On Call Responsibilities: Phone calls only; calls are minimal and light.
Salary (range):
-Up to $130,000 or even higher (depending on qualifications) OR a salary structure with productivity bonus, with the potential to exceed $180,000 after the second year.
