Our painters perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and industrial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. Responsibilities

•Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
•Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it
•Repair small drywall patches
•Maintain a neat and tidy work area
•Document your work daily in our software app on your phone
•Communication professionally with the Project Managers
•Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
•Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
•Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
•Build scaffolding when needed
•Mix paint or stains to customer's specification

Qualifications

• Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position
•Experience with painting tools and techniques is required
•Experience with a paint sprayer
•Clean driving record
•Must pass a drug screening
•Climb ladders
•Work on scaffolding
•Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training
•We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
•2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
•Driver's license required
•Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
