Serves as a member of the DC (Defined Contribution 401(K)) Data Conversion team, which is involved in the transformation and loading of participant data for DC plans -- corporate actions, mergers, or new business. Responsible for data conversion for OLB (Online Beneficiary), data validation for TCBS (Total Compensation and Benefit Summary), enhancement projects, CDC (Client Data Control) support requests, and ad-hoc reporting requests. Works with teams including the onshore Implementation Conversion Services and Data Conversion Implementation Systems to develop complex or multiple conversion applications and routines.\u00A0

Primary Responsibilities: \u00A0
\u00A0
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going data conversion efforts, and participates in the implementation of conversion level architecture -- complies with data conversion and implementations standards.\u00A0
Performs technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several data conversions.\u00A0
Designs and develops conversion routines or subsystems to support increasing data conversion program complexity.\u00A0
Performs functional analysis for small to moderate projects.\u00A0
Executes data conversions and provide guidance to junior associates.\u00A0
Performs code and unit testing for moderate to complex-scope data conversion routines, and responsible for post-installation testing correction of conversion problems.\u00A0
Assists in the planning and conducting of client/user review of conversion results and reports, and implementations corrections.\u00A0
Performs and supports all phases of testing, leading to the data conversion of implementation, as well as post-installation testing and correction of any conversion problems.\u00A0
Develops comprehensive documentation for all data conversions.\u00A0
Maintains quality, timeliness, and accuracy of deliverables.\u00A0
Performs defect prevention activities.\u00A0
Reports on project deliverables to senior management for review.\u00A0
Conducts trainings for new members on the team.\u00A0
Provides technical/process guidance to team.\u00A0
Serves as coordinator for offshore DC Data Conversion team offshore.\u00A0
Serves as Subject Matter Expert in Defined Contributions Data Conversions.\u00A0

Education and Experience :\u00A0

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer (or closely related occupation) working in SAS, Python, Azure, and AWS to move data from on-prem to cloud.\u00A0\u00A0

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Technology Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Data Engineer (or closely related occupation) working in SAS, Python, Azure, and AWS to move data from on-prem to cloud.\u00A0

Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) designing and developing SAS programs on mainframes and UNIX platform for data conversion -- automation of data migration from flat files and databases.\u00A0
DE designing automated data pipelines for data extract, transform, and load (ETL) for evolving business requirements and integrating data into technologies (Cloud data marts and data lakes) and data formats (JSON and XML).\u00A0
DE developing workflow templates to read client and vendor data using Adeptia; and generating files to load into Oracle or DB2 databases.\u00A0
DE working with business teams on requirement analysis, translating the business requirements into technical specifications, and converting the data using SAS, SQL, Python, and Adeptia programming to support clients.\u00A0
