**Position Summary**

The Service Manager, Hydrogen Operations role is responsible for overseeing GenFuel service projects and activities for the hydrogen fueling infrastructure at customer locations. The service manager owns all projects at existing sites. Projects range from small infrastructure repairs to full system replacements. This position will work with multiple teams within Plug Power including engineering, supply chain, and service. In addition to internal communication, this position will interface with industrial gas companies, local and federal agencies, contractors, suppliers and customers. The ideal candidate for this role possesses strong interpersonal skills, has management or leadership experience, strong organizational skills with project management experience, and is capable of building strong cross-functional partnerships.

**Core Duties and Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Plug Power products and related hydrogen infrastructure system designs and functionality.

* Work as subject matter expert to manage all facets of hydrogen system installations and/or repairs at existing customer sites.

* Provide expertise to assist in the development of project schedules and budgetary parameters.

* Coordinate the activities of all parties involved with hydrogen projects including industrial gas companies, permitting agencies, contractors, and all others as needed.

* Collaborate with internal teams as necessary for hydrogen projects; be proactive in alignment of efforts to achieve project timetables.

* Provide guidance and technical expertise on project sites as required; set expectations for suppliers and contractors in alignment with Plug Power standards.

* Manage project schedules and resolve problems as necessary to deliver on end-customer expectations.

* Communicate regularly with service team members and end-customers in order to clarify project expectations and meet commitments.

* Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.

* Perform all other duties as assigned.

* Collaborate with service coordinators to prioritize Plug Power resources as needed.

**Education and Experience**

* BS degree in engineering: mechanical, electrical, or other applicable field of study.

* A minimum of five (5) years working experience in project/service functions

* PMP certification highly preferred.

* Adept at mitigating project roadblocks and developing solutions to keep projects on schedule and within committed specifications.

* Ability to travel to customer sites for infrastructure project management activities; up to 25% of the time

* Must have Experience in the following spheres of activity:

+ Hydrogen and/or hydrogen fuel cells

+ Cryogenic I ndustry

+ High Pressure Systems (250 Bar and up)

+ Gas processing and/or dispensing equipment

* Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders.

* Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.

* Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.

* Ability to role model high standards of professionalism.

* Excellent follow-through.

* Must be driven and self-motivated.
